An anti-wind rally turned ugly this weekend. The Vermonters for a Clean Environment demonstration near the Lowell wind power site got out of hand when VPIRG Executive Director Paul Burns was chased into one of the turbine structures by activist Steve Wright and a large turnout of demonstrators. A nearby resident captured video of the conflict on his iphone (shown below in the extended entry).
