… Randy Brock’s money bomb has had a delayed explosion. The “money bomb” graphic just went right to the top.
I guess we’ll be seeing a self-congratulatory press release any time now.
And then we can see how the real fundraising race shapes up on Monday afternoon, when the first campaign finance reports since last July are due at the Secretary of State’s office.
I bet he had to call his ‘completion bond’ donor. They have a Wealthy Benefactor waiting in the wings to write a check for whatever they are short.
In the film biz the completion bond is an investor that pays for the amount that the production goes over budget, but the completion guarantor gets all the rights to the picture and gets most of the box office receipts.
So I wonder who just bought the rights to Randy Brock?
I got his “$40,000!” e-mail at my work e-mail address, just like I get all kinds of other Brock spam, late yesterday afternoon.
I assume he got my address from the registered lobbyist list. All I know is that if he claims he’s only sending e-mails to people he has had personal contact or some kind of personal relationship with, I’ve never spoken one word to him or vice-versa.
As a friend of mine who also gets his spam commented yesterday, does he really think this is going to get him votes? Sending spam e-mails to people who don’t want them?
