I finally decide to post something, get through a reasonably thoughtful piece (for me) about the wind debate, and the browser crashes taking the unsaved diary with it. Crud. Oh well.

a friend (who follows such things) told me that today is the last day that Mercury is in retrograde. That’s supposed to mean that tomorrow, things will get better.
But then I listened to the weather report and I knew that can’t be right.
When this came in my mailbox:
to replace the sign outside the history museum in Montpelier with one that says “Freedom and Unity: Uneedom.” If anyone from the historical society is reading this, feel free to do this for me, I’m rather lazy.
I can’t see it. My WWW connection is slow at the best of times.
