“I find it interesting to see S&P so vigilant now in downgrading the U.S. credit rating. Where were they four years ago when they, and other credit rating agencies, helped cause this horrendous recession by providing AAA ratings to worthless sub-prime mortgage securities on behalf of Wall Street investment firms? Where were they last December when Congress and the White House drove up the national debt by $700 billion by extending Bush’s tax breaks for the rich?”

The December deal was a prequel hostage crisis (UI extension). But otherwise, yeah.
what could happen if a person with a bigger bully pulpit such as that fellow in the White House has, would say this sort of thing?
Yeah…it’ll never happen and it is kind of an audacious hope.
Well it certainly appears that S & P “shills for the right wing” in their quick judgement and assessment in their actions have “outed them” very nicely thank you very much.
I pledge, that I will not be their slave to this institution nor any of their “team followers” i.e. “Tea Party”. While government has to live within their means and do those things very necessary to get back on track (like taxing the wealthy and cutting subsidies to the oil oligarchy may I remind the normal) – I for one (and there are “way many more like me” than like these financial ideologues may I point out) – putting our economy into the ditch for IDEOLOGICAL PURPOSES of electing A president is akin to War! You think about!
