  1. I just spoke with a friend who lives downtown and there is a lot of no-go zone. Main Street from the roundabout to School St., Elm St. from Langdon to Spring, and parts of Bailey and Taylor are all under water. The schools are closed. Just avoid downtown for a while.

    Looks like a repeat tonight.

    I live up in the hills, but I am building a boat and a dock at the end of my driveway so I can visit the other islands in the Vermont chain.

    A record rainfall of 4.55 inch(es) was set at St. Johnsbury VT yesterday. This breaks the old record of 0.79 set in 1910.
