Unfortunately it seems to be turning into a daily comic strip.
The only problem I have with this cartoon is the connotation evoked by putting Obama in the white suit. Looks to me like a suggestion (as came up in the 2008 campaign) that he isn’t “black enough.”
Though, “lily-livered” (as in pale white) was an old-time insult indicating cowardice. And during World War I, any British male not in uniform might be given a white feather (usually by his girlfriend or a female relative) as pressure on him to refute the implied charge of cowardice by enlisting.
There are pacifist connotations, too, although true pacifism is a principled stand against participating in war activities, not a capitulation to political pressure.
Finally, a white feather was apparently considered a badge of excellence in combat marksmanship, at least during the U.S. war in Vietnam – but good shooting doesn’t apply here, unless Obama’s target is either his own (rapidly dwindling) political base or the literal appendage on which he stands.
