I’ve been listening to the gubernatorial and lt gov wannabes as they debate down in Tunbridge on the Mark Johnson show, and I believe every one of them has brought up this “I’m a native Vermonter” bullshit.
WHAT THE HELL DOES YOUR ACCIDENTAL PLACE OF BIRTH HAVE TO DO WITH ANYTHING?
Blech.
“I’ve been a Native Vermonter longer than any of them. I have a PLAN for the FUTURE also. Why was I not invited to the Debates? In fact, I’m going to ask Dennis Steele and Tom Naylor why the fuck they didn’t put me on their flag instead of that Commie dude Che. And why does Douglas take off for Asia when there is still a month to go of trout season out here on the lake. I would love to have him do one more of his fishing photo-ops here before he leaves office. You do know, of course, that Douglas is NOT a Native Vermonter. He comes from Massachusetts–that should tell you something about why he doesn’t give a shit about Vermont. I just hope that when the next polls come out, they reflect the true figures:
