He’s kidding, right?

Did you see what McCain said today?

Democrats shouldn’t expect much cooperation from Republicans the rest of this year, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) warned Monday.

“There will be no cooperation for the rest of the year,” McCain said during an interview Monday on an Arizona radio affiliate. “They have poisoned the well in what they’ve done and how they’ve done it.”

Can anyone else think of any bipartisanship or cooperation the Republicans have shown in this Congress?

Anyone?

Bueller?

  1.

“No co-operation for the rest of the year” This showcases McCain’s mature and finely tuned political thinking. It’s of the same savvy strategic insight that lead to his choosing Sarah Palin as VP running mate.

Or …he is in a desperate primary race, doing poorly in the polls at home in Arizona and will say or do almost anything to pander to his base constituents. Country first, dontcha know

  2. McCain’s the man who thought Sarah P. would make a great VP and stand in for President of the United States.
