Yes, I will enter the race to be Governor of Vermont in 2010.

I just got home from Matt Dunne’s announcement in WRJ. There was about 20-25 supporters and about 10-15 reporters there. He talked about issues; health care, more and better jobs, renewable energy, free college tuition in exchange for service, bringing some kind of technology to all Vermonters (he needs to dumb down the language a bit on that one for people like me :-).
But most importantly he put it all in the context that we need to think about how these issues will effect us not only a year or two from now, but much farther into the future as well. That we need to have a long-term plan that will make Vermont a better place to live for ourselves and the next generation. I think because Matt is middle-aged and has young children he has a different perspective and vision for Vermont then the other candidates. He was quite impressive!
