Ho Ho Goes to Hollywood?

[Update: Of course I should have realized. Freyne already has dibs on the obvious title… But Peter? No Brittney Spears photo parody, eh?]

Pollina Shmollina…

The most important bit of armchair speculation that should be occupying Vermonters' time is Who Will Play Howard Dean?

In case you haven't heard, George Clooney and Leonardo DiCaprio are teaming up to produce a movie that will apparently focus on Dean's paradigm changing race for the Democratic nomination.

Per the AP

BURLINGTON, Vt. —A publicist for actor George Clooney confirms that former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean could be depicted in a movie featuring Clooney and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Clooney publicist Stan Rosenfield says the movie depicting Dean's 2004 presidential campaign is in development, but could be years from release.

Vermont Film Commission executive director Joe Bookchin says he is hoping to persuade the studo, Warner Bros., to film significant parts of the movie in Vermont. Dean's campaign was headquartered in Burlington.

He says the movie could bring millions of dollars of economic activity into the state.

Of course, Howard “Fiddy State” Dean is no stranger to Hollywood…
