In order to keep the pressure to represent their constituents on our state lawmakers, there will be a rally of sorts Wednesday at the State House in Montpelier. I say "of sorts", because from what I can tell from this article in the Rutland Herald, it's more of a group lobbying effort.

Sorry for the short post, but I have little info, less time, and wanted to get this out to the progressive community ASAP.

Here's the Plan: (4.00 / 2)

We will be in the State House this Wednesday from 10:00 until about 2:00. Go first to the cafeteria to register and get a tag identifying you as a supporter of the impeachment resolution. We will then talk to legislators who are in their committee rooms, milling about, having lunch, etc.

The big push is to get a huge number of people to the House chamber at 1:00, in the hopes of convincing Speaker Symington to allow the resolution to be brought up for a vote (which I understand would not occur on Wednesday), rather than being shunted off to die in Committee.

Also, the Reps need to hear from their constituents. Please ask your friends all around the state to contact them. All legislative emails follow the format: Initial of first name+last name@leg.state.vt.us. e.g. Jsmith@leg.state.vt.us.
