...does he look a little like he doesn't actually understand everything he's reading from the teleprompter?

Every once in awhile, his eyebrows go up like he's confused.

I'm a bit of a fan of Reed.  I met him the night I that Clinton got elected back in '92, back when I was working on Clinton's campaign in Rhode Island. 

I like the content of Reed's speech here, but I'm not the biggest fan of the delivery.  He's more dynamic and charismatic in person than he is in this particular speech.

That said, he's saying -all- the right things: clear and specific about all the problems of Bush's strategy.

I agree with everything Edwards says, or close enough. Still, there's something about the way he presents himself. Remember when Carter was running for president and the caricature was of this guy in overalls with a gigantic smile? All through this video there were these flickers of a smile that put me off. I guess it's kind of like I thought in 2004: he seems a bit too shiny to appeal to people.

Still, everything he says in the video is correct.

And we cannot allow the MSM, because they will & want to, resort to merely valuating HOW the Democrats deliver the message. The message has to be the message.

Personally, I am hungry for that message and I want to hear that message over and over and and over and over until it is the
rallying cry of every serious member of Congress; and

every member of the Senate who wants to be taken seriously; and

every Democratic member of the House of Representatives leadership team who wants to be taken seriously; and

EVERY Senator running for President named Clinton & Obama who REMAINS serious and who recognizes that this message is long overdue and wishes to continue their CAREER absent scorn and derision.

Congress and, critically those of us who elect them, can it be any clearer for you, for us?
